HOUSE L MELROSE

Renovation to a typical 50’s style corridor house. The original house had two noteworthy aspects, its stone base and its shingle roof. We retained both these elements but inserted a modern element in-between them. This allowed us to celebrate the existing, yet modernise it as well as increase the floor area to accommodate the young family without needing a new roof or foundations.
